The parish Council operates a Parish Caretaker Scheme. The DTMS Group, from Fellbeck, Harrogate, carry out a minimum of five hours of maintenance work in the Parish each month.
The Parish Caretaker duties include:
- Sweeping and weeding pavements
- cleaning the bus shelter
- washing and keeping the road signs clean and clear
- Inspection of the children's Play areas
- Rub down and apply teak oil to the benches in the Parish
